The collector<\/strong> already has an entire library of books<\/strong> at home. However, he has not yet worked through any of them from cover to cover. Because in his search for a shortcut to learning to play the piano as quickly as possible, he is constantly buying new teaching materials.<\/strong> Through the investment he makes, he convinces himself that he will then actually make progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis is a mistake, because investing money alone has never taught anyone to play the piano.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investment in the form of time and patient practice are the key to success. A teaching aid is, of course, the right product for this, but only if you spend time with it regularly and with concentration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In my interactive piano courses, I offer a huge number of videos in which I explain everything in great detail. But no one has ever learned to play the piano just by watching videos.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOnly by actively engaging with the material does the learning process begin.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My recommendation<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus on a single teaching resource. Work with it for at least 3 months \u2014 and exclusively. Make sure that the teaching material\/piano course matches your playing level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P.S.: By the way, I myself am a typical collector. How many books and courses I have bought… They did help me, but focusing on the essentials would certainly have been more helpful even back then. People who collect gain a lot of knowledge from books or digital products. They are used to acquiring knowledge on their own, but often lose sight of the big picture.<\/strong> For this reason, it makes sense for them to discuss their goals with a piano teacher or piano educator. This will help them stay focused and ensure that their goals are achieved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
